Last Friday, Lola Ramona opened its first shop in Copenhagen. It was celebrated with champagne and a special sale with some of their samples. After a glass of champagne, I decided on these two lovely pairs.
I’ve had my eye on the checkered shoes in the pic above for quite a while now, and I’m thrilled I got them on a sale. I’d never seen the shoes with the mustard bow in the pic below before, but I fell for them immediately. Well, after some champagne that is. When I decided to give them a nice home, I was told that they were one of a kind! Now I love them even more – silly right?
We also got a sneak-peak at next season’s samples, but were asked not to take any pictures. So I’ll show you a pic of the sale instead:
How I envy you! I want a life of books, one-of-a-kind shoes, and vintage clothing, too!
Currently, I’m re-reading Vikram Chandra’s Sacred Games. I read it when it first was published and loved it, but it’s quite long so I haven’t re-read it since. Now’s the time and I’m thoroughly enjoying it!
For clothes, I think I mentioned to you someplace that I’ve become obsessed with Rundholz. Today I’m wearing this skirt:

with a long white blouse that’s fitted up top, and these shoes by my favorite shoe designer:

Oh, your so sweet, Janey, thank you so much 🙂
Sounds like a great outfit – did you take any pictures of it?
