Watership Down by Richard Adams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I’ve read this book over and over again as a child and thought it would be fun to reread it as an adult – this time in English. And I enjoyed following the rabbits in their quest for a new home, the stories they told each other, and I really liked Hazel’s thoughts on leadership. And the chapters with Efrafa were so terrifying! I thought that part of the novel functioned really well. All in all it was a pleasure revisiting this world that I remembered so well.
