One of the many vintage shops on my Paris-list was Adöm on Rue de la Roquette. It’s in the Bastille neighborhood, which was so cozy and different from the rest of Paris. This is one of the things I love about hunting down vintage shops when I’m on vacation – it takes you places you probably wouldn’t have found otherwise.
Adöm is an amazing second hand shop. It’s rather small, but lacks the charm and atmosphere of shops like Mamie. It’s crammed with rack after rack of vintage clothing, but is nowhere near as chaotic as Free’p’Star. The selection was almost as just as good as Episode and the prices just as reasonable. It took me almost an hour to go through all the racks and trying things on – poor Mr. Boyfriend! I ended up with the two dresses in the picture above (I’m wearing the green one here) and the three skirts below (I’m wearing the black one here).
My rating of the shop, from 1-5 stars
